After arriving in Ancona early in the morning we jumped on a nine hour ferry that would take us from the Eastern coast of Italy through the Adriatic Sea into beautiful Eastern Europe. While the ferry ride was long, we kept busy by exploring, napping, eating, and enjoying the view on the sun deck. I especially enjoyed napping on the deck while Anya took several flattering pictures of me snoozing. We arrived in Split, Croatia at half past seven and jumped on a six hour bus to Banja Luka, Bosnia. This was the last leg of our long 24 hour journey. Once we got to Bosnia, we were picked up by Feliks (Anya's brother) and I was introduced to their wonderful family. We snacked on some traditional Bosnian homemade pastries and then slept like babies. Hello Bosnia! :)
