This afternoon we had to return our bikes so we woke up fairly early so that we could ride them for a bit before we had to give them back. We headed east because we've never really been that way yet. We came across a mall so we went in there for a bit. Then we biked all the way back to the centre in la ramblas and eventually returned our bikes. We were eagerly waiting for the arrival of Julia who was on her way to Barcelona from Madrid. While we waited we went to a sushi restaurant right near our hostel that some friends told us was good. We've been craving sushi for a while but most places we've seen are really expensive. This place was only 10 euros and all you can eat. You sit in front a conveyor belt and pick whatever you want. It was pretty cool until I was so full and then the food going around on the conveyor belt made me feel dizzy and hypnotized. Sushi coma. After this we went back to the hostel and finally met up with Julia! We hung out at our hostel for a bit with all our new friends and later that night we all went out for some fun and drinks. We were with some locals who took us to one of the squares where the ground is so warm from being heated by the sun all day. Lots of people go there to sit around and buy cheap beers from the street vendors while their dogs socialize and play with each other.
