Day 23 - parc Guell

I (Anja) Woke up extra early this morning to go line up for entry into the Sagrada Familia; the line up is always very long. I waited just over an hour but it was well worth it. Unreal architecture, noticeably inspired by nature. I didn't know much about Gaudi before coming to Barcelona but have fallen in love with all his work while being here. Next stop of the day was parc Guell! A popular park located on a hill with a beautiful view of Barcelona and amazing architecture. Gaudi's architectural work can also be found here and we were beyond amazed by the ceramic detail of the animal sculptures located in the park. We also go to go inside Gaudi's old house that he lived in for about 20 years before he died. Its now turned into a museum. After exploring Parc Guell, we had dinner at a not-so-great restaurant (the first bad food experience on our trip thus far) and then headed out to a local bar for some dancing and cocktails.
