Day 21 - Our fave city so far!
We didn't have much planned for today. To be honest, we were kind of overwhelmed with all that Barcelona had to offer. Jorge gave us such a large list of things to see that we didn't really know where to start. So we started walking... With no solid plan. From our apartment we walked about 10 minutes until we reached Gaudi street, which is full of great architecture and lots of good shopping and eating stops. At the end on the street you could see the glorious church, Sagrada Familia. I'd have to say that this is probably the most amazing structure I have seen so far on our trip, there's nothing like it. The line to get in was massive, as it usually is so.. We're gonna give that a shot another time. After this we bought a map (very helpful) and continued to paseo de gracia, a very popular street with lots of good (and expensive) shopping. After Gracia we went down to La Rambla, another famous, very busy street in Barcelona filled with street vendors, performers, yummy restaurants and markets. From there we walked all the way down to the port, saw some cool monuments, and then walked all the way back home.
